After years of recording and touring with the acclaimed Rock/Blues band Freed, lead singer and guitarist Nick Freed launched Flakey's Gang in 2017. Over the years, Nick has collaborated with various talented musicians, but the current lineup of 3RD RAIL THEORY truly sets the stage on fire. Joining Nick are bassist and vocalist Steve Mulholland and drummer/vocalist Jay Millwood—both powerhouses in their own right.

Steve, who made his mark recording and touring with Tin Pan Alley and Cell 213 throughout the ’90s and 2000s, brings his exceptional bass skills and wide vocal range to 3RD RAIL THEORY. As one of the band’s original members of Flakey's Gang, Steve, along with Nick, recently relocated from South Florida and the Keys to the vibrant Tampa/St. Pete music scene.

Completing the lineup is the dynamic Jay Millwood, whose remarkable drumming and powerful vocals infuse the band with fresh energy. Together, this trio forms the strongest and most passionate band, 3RD RAIL THEORY.
